Pilates definitely improves my mobility
I am keen on Pilates and having Jo’s studio in her home makes the sessions very enjoyable and personal. I started Pilates with Jo a few years back when she taught mat work, but now in her studio she incorporates mat work and Pilates equipment, this works very well and I absolutely love doing this type of exercise, especially as I am now not so supple as I was years ago! Pilates definitely improves my mobility, and if there are any aches and pains I feel that they disappear much quicker having a stronger core!
I would recommend Jo’s Pilates sessions to anyone, and often do!

I feel I benefit enormously from Pilates
I began seeing Jo at the beginning of October 2014. I was experiencing neck pain due to severe degenerative changes in the mid cervical spine. Jo devised a personal Pilates programme which has helped me so that now I rarely experience neck pain. Moreover I have really appreciated Jo’s thoughtful response to concerns regarding my limited movement as a result of hip operations. I have continued to attend and enjoy group sessions. Jo regularly updates and adapts my programme so I am never bored.
I feel I benefit enormously from Pilates and have come to see it as an essential part of my life.

Pilates with Jo is a focussed session where she addresses individual injuries and weaknesses and works with you to achieve a return to strength and function. I found Jo when I moved into the area two years ago and her Pilates sessions have made a big difference to me. I am a competitive cyclist and had come to accept my lower back pain. That has gone, as have the neck and shoulder issues from an old injury.I am looking forward to a great year of competition thanks to Jo and I am in my mid fifties.
Jo looks at the body as a whole and each participant is given exercises to suit their individual need. I strongly recommend her knowledgeable, straightforward, professional approach.

Jo keeps things fresh and fun
Jo Cooper is a very professional lady and well qualified in her field, I started seeing Jo in 2013 as a result of spinal surgery and unfortunately involvement in a Road Traffic Accident, I lived with constant pain, now having attended classes with Jo I am pain free, when I attend on a regular basis. When life gets too busy and I miss my classes I do find that things can slowly slip back, but Jo has taught me a lot about my body and some helpful hints and techniques on getting my spine and body moving, so that I can help myself when things start to go wrong when I am unable to see her. I cannot recommend her highly enough, and have learnt that maintenance of your core, muscle groups and fascia means you can remain pain free, without surgery or medication. One other amazing thing about Jo is that I have never attended two classes the same, she keeps things fresh and fun, whilst achieving the bigger picture.
